  13. I have a Supra 28.8i internal fax modem installed on com3 with an IRQ of
  14. 5.  For some reason, when I install the cd-rom drivers, nothing that I
  15. type in any terminal program appears on the screen.  It won't dial or
  16. answer from the terminals either.  When I go to the dos prompt and enter
  17. echo ata > com3, it answers.  I assume it's an irq conflict.  I used to
  18. have a USR Sportster 14.4k set on com3 and IRQ 7.  Everything worked fine. 
  19. I have a Fusion 16 sound card;  the cd-rom is connected to its scsi port. 
  20. With the USR, I had the Sound Blaster portion set to IRQ 5.  It's set to 7
  21. with the Supra.  Are there any jumpers on the Fusion 16 sound card I must
  22. change in order to change the IRQ of the Sound Blaster portion, or is it
  23. all done in installing the drivers?  BTW, the Supra doesn't support IRQ 7.
